# Corvia

> Corvia is a Catholic daily-prayer app for iOS and Android. Each day pairs the user with a specific canonized saint, a short biography, a reflection, and a personal prayer in that saint's spirit. The app is built around the Catholic tradition of saint intercession: users do not pray to saints, they pray with them. Corvia is freely available, with optional in-app subscription for AI-generated custom prayer plans on user-chosen topics.

## What the app does

- **Daily prayer accompanied by a saint.** Every day the app presents one saint, a brief biography framing them as a spiritual companion for that day's theme, and a personal prayer written in their spirit.
- **Two prayer modes.** *Virtues* — for personal formation around themes like patience, humility, gratitude, trust. Each day includes a small practical challenge. *Healing and Hope* — for hard seasons like anxiety, grief, exhaustion, illness, big decisions. Gentler tone, evening reading instead of a challenge.
- **Prayer plans.** Fixed 3–14 day arcs on one chosen topic, in the spirit of a Catholic novena. Pre-generated plans are free; custom plans on a user-supplied topic are AI-generated and require an in-app subscription.
- **Morning and evening rhythm.** Tap *Amen* in the morning to mark the day started; the evening reading appears after 4 PM to close the day.
- **Catholic terminology.** Rosary, novena, breviary (Liturgy of the Hours), Stations of the Cross, litanies, psalms, intercession of saints, patron saints, spiritual fasting.
