Day 1 · St. Ignatius of Loyola
St. Ignatius learned to trust God through conversion and patient discernment. He taught that God is at work even in confusion and setbacks. His spirituality helps us surrender our own plans and seek God’s will with freedom.
Lord God, teach me to trust You more than my own understanding. In my worries and decisions, give me light to choose what leads to You. When I feel anxious, remind me that You are near and guiding me. I place this day into Your hands. Amen.
Challenge
Write down one worry you’re carrying. Pray, “Jesus, I trust in You,” three times, then take one small practical step you can do today and leave the rest to God.
Day 2 · St. Teresa of Ávila
St. Teresa faced opposition, illness, and many responsibilities while reforming her Carmelite communities. She learned that peace comes from relying on God, not on comfort or control. Her witness reminds us that God is enough in every season.
God of peace, when my heart is restless, anchor me in Your love. Help me trust You in what I cannot fix or foresee. Give me courage to do what is mine to do and humility to leave the outcome to You. Stay close to me today. Amen.
Challenge
Choose one moment today (before a meeting, message, or task) to pause for 20 seconds and pray: “God, You are enough—lead me.”
Day 3 · St. Josephine Bakhita
St. Josephine Bakhita endured great suffering and yet discovered God’s tender providence. Her faith transformed pain into hope and gentleness. She shows that trust can grow even when life has been unfair.
Father, You see every hidden wound and every fear I carry. Heal what has been hardened in me and make my heart soft again. Help me trust Your goodness, even when I do not understand. I rest in Your care today. Amen.
Challenge
Do one act of kindness for someone who seems overlooked (a call, a note, a small help), offering it quietly to God as an act of trust.
Day 4 · St. Claude de la Colombière
St. Claude was a Jesuit priest who supported the message of the Sacred Heart and encouraged confident trust in Jesus. He faced misunderstanding and imprisonment with steady faith. His life points to the Lord’s faithful love.
Jesus, gentle and humble of heart, increase my trust in Your mercy. When I feel unworthy or afraid, draw me back to Your Sacred Heart. Teach me to hope in Your promises and not in my moods. I choose to rely on You today. Amen.
Challenge
Go to a church (or pause at home) and slowly pray: “Sacred Heart of Jesus, I place my trust in You,” five times, surrendering one specific fear each time.
Day 5 · St. Elizabeth Ann Seton
St. Elizabeth Ann Seton knew grief, financial hardship, and major life changes. She followed God step by step and became a mother, convert, and founder who served others with courage. Her path shows trust lived in ordinary responsibilities.
Lord, I offer You my family, my work, and my responsibilities. Give me grace to be faithful today, without carrying tomorrow’s burdens. Help me trust You in small choices and daily interruptions. Make my heart steady in Your providence. Amen.
Challenge
Do today’s most ordinary duty (laundry, emails, study, childcare) with a simple intention: “For You, Lord,” and refuse one needless complaint.
Day 6 · St. John of the Cross
St. John of the Cross lived through darkness, trials, and deep spiritual purification. He taught that God can lead us through seeming emptiness into a fuller union with Him. His wisdom helps us trust God when feelings fail.
God, when I cannot sense You, keep me faithful. Strengthen my trust beyond emotions and outcomes. Teach me to walk by faith, believing You are working in hidden ways. Hold me close as I persevere. Amen.
Challenge
Fast from one reassurance today (re-checking messages, searching for certainty, over-planning). When the urge returns, pray: “Lord, I believe; help my unbelief.”
Day 7 · Bl. Charles de Foucauld
Bl. Charles de Foucauld converted from a restless life to a quiet, radical trust in God. He lived simply, seeking to love Jesus in hiddenness and service. His surrender inspires us to place everything in God’s hands.
Father, I abandon myself into Your hands; do with me what You will. Give me the grace to trust Your plan more than my own. Make my life a simple yes to Your love. I belong to You today and always. Amen.
Challenge
Pray one decade of the Rosary or one Psalm (such as Psalm 23), then write one sentence: “Today I entrust ___ to God,” and keep it where you’ll see it.
